Health & Safety : Our Prime Concern
Health and Safety is paramount at Walton. We are constantly seeking new ways to improve procedures and make both Management and Operatives aware of their responsibilities.
Everyone that works for Walton are educated into working to correct and safe working practices. This is critical to the success and evolvement of the business.
All Employees are regularly monitored to ensure we meet all legal regulations set by the Health and Safety Executive and by our clients. Recent audits by our insurers and clients have underlined the quality of our operation.
Walton tries to achieve transparency by allowing clients to audit our information, our sites, and our depot as regularly as the clients deem as necessary.
Walton continues to invest in their people through both internal and
external means.
An annual training programme is scheduled, frequently assessed and changed
accordingly.
Proactive work by carrying out tools box talks and site specific risk assessments help us adapt. Assessing the risk, identifying the risk and trying to eliminate the risk are what we try to achieve.
The Directors of Walton accept the responsibility to provide a safe working environment and continue to promote the need to improve Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
We put systems into place for one reason: to avoid accidents and to strive for “zero tolerance”.
