THE WALTON WAY
In line with current legislation - Including the New Roads and Street Works Act, and our Company Policy, the Walton Way is the written process in which we carry out our work on site. It encompasses all Health, Safety and Environmental issues, PPE, Safety, Communication and Quality.
There are three different versions which cover Blacktop, Backfill and Whitetop work. Our team structure, combined experience and ongoing training enable us to fully measure performance by carrying out regular team audits; a minimum of once a month conducted by Managers and Supervisors. These audits highlight if compliance of the Walton Way is being maintained or not, and any issues are addressed without undue delay. The long term aim is to measure and control the performance of individual teams to assess and ensure continuous improvement. The Walton Way has proven to be a fine tool to help and develop our Operational staff.

Walton became a 1SO 9001:2000 Quality Assured accredited company in 2000 and continue to demonstrate continual compliance with this Management system, thus resulting in being upgraded to the 9001:2008 standard.
